Illustration Friday: Breakfast

When I think of breakfast, I think cereal. So what better way to show breakfast than a box of cereal? My main texture paper was blue so I looked up what cereals have blue boxes and found that Boo Berry Cereal has a blue box with a blue ghost on it so I decided to do that instead of doing what everyone would do and actually show the breakfast.

Illustration Friday: Midsummer Night

In this drawing, I tried to show a dock looking at the sunset over water and the sunset reflecting off the water. There is a little sand bar and then more water which is what it looks like at my beach house when it is low tide.

Color and Space

In this drawing, I tried to make the cross in the middle stand out by using warm colors in it. I created some space by leaving the square in the middle white and then in the back ground I used yellow and then lightening blue, black, and orange using a white oil pastel. I think it turned out well because when I look at it the first thing I see is the cross because it seems to be standing out and popping in front of the background colors. Overall, I think I did pretty well.

Illustration Friday: Bottle

I decided to draw a bottle of milk, with a blue water color background.

Two Point Perspective

This is a two point perspective drawing of a corner of my room. On the left side there is a door and on the right on the wall is a small white board to write my self messages on. Below that is this guitar looking thing, I don't exactly know what it is called. Then next to that is a dresser where I keep stuff in. On the door, I thought it would be okay not to use sharpie but it messed it up :(

One Point Perspective

This is a one point perspective drawing of my basement. It has my xbox, speakers and tv and there is a window on the left wall.

My Photocollage: Off my front porch

This is a photo collage off my front porch. This is one of my favorite places because I just like to go out there and relax. This photo collage is made up of 5 pictures even though it only looks like 4.

Photography Assignment: Shape, Space, Form

The bricks on the wall make geometric shapes.

The space in between the candles is negative space.

I took a picture of my living room without corners which gives it a one point perspective look.

A took an aerial perspective picture of a foosball table.

This is a picture of an avocado which is an organtic shape.

Photo montage: My Family

This photo montage describes my family. On the top we have two big pictures of an ocean and then a boat. This shows how my family are big water lovers and love to be out on our boats. Next row down we have a smaller picture of a golf ball. This is in there because all of my family plays golf but it isn't as big because we don't play as much as we want. Next to that is a picture of a surfboard because all my family loves sports whether it is water sports or not. On the bottom left side is a picture of myself and a giraffe which depicts our love for animals. The biggest picture however is a picture put together of my family. My dad is the biggest because he is the man of the house followed by my mom then my brother and I. This is the biggest because family is very important to us and we are all very close. I tried my best to make this not just another collage and I think I did a pretty good job at using proportion to make things more important.

Launch

In this picture, instead of doing a rocket like other people did i decided to do launch as it pertains to launching a boat into the water via a boat ramp. I drew the boat as if it had just come off the trailer and into the water. I tried to use a darker shade for the sky and a lighter color sun to make it seem like this was happening later in the day. I added salt into the water to give it texture and tried to make waves behind the boat to show that it had just been put in.
